Trying to use Apple's Migration assistant to move Emily's Windows 7 Machine (a VM) to my old Macbook Pro. Seems to be taking FOREVER. 100 GB total. Will see where it ends up. Will update this post. Might end up just usb'ing it.

Update #1:

After it going on wifi for like 30 minutes and saying 30 hours left, I decided to connect both direct to the router, had to restart migration, now saying 40 minutes left.

I picked up The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim today. Released yesterday, 11.11.11 .. When Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion came out, I picked that up too, and fell in love with the game, the story, the concept, the graphics, the quests, pretty much everything. Played it for a loooong time.

Started playing Skyrim today (Ella's nap) and already way into it. I like Elder Scrolls much better than Fallout 3, Las Vegas, even though the Engine is the same. I just like the style better. 

Excited to keep playing, guessing it could keep me busy for 1-2 years :)

Definately a rant here, but deserved. Yes Scott H, Bile gets a permalink.

This summer we went up to visit the Iron Range (my hometown, etc) and Ella, our 2 year old, got bit by something. Huge swell up, ankle was huge, couldn't even fit the shoe on. Walgreens pharmacist was like, you need to get to ER now, that is out of hand.

So, we go to the University Medical Center Mesabi, in Hibbing MN. We get triaged. We sit for.. 3 hours. and still no sign of getting looked at. We leave since by this time it was 1030-11 PM and Ella was about to or going to sleep. 

We but some stuff on it and gave her benadryl, and yeah, all worked out fine.

Except, we get a 75 dollar bill. For what? Triage? For them taking our info and taking her temp? And that is after insurance paid 130 dollars. WTF? Really?

What that tells me is that we shouldnt ever go unless our limbs are ripped off or we have a heart attack. 

Yeah, I paid the bill, but what the heck do I have insurance for? And my daughter didn't get seen. We paid for nothing. We asked the triage nurse if we should be there or if there is anything we could do .. response? "I can't tell you anything, I can't do anything, you have to wait. So we paid for them not to tell us anything and for us to wait in a waiting room.

Ridiculous.

Maybe it's like this everywhere but still, I feel ripped off and I'm going to say something about it, here it is.
