Why hasn’t someone thought of this yet…
Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could goto the grocery store or Target or something, and as you put items in your cart, a little LCD screen attached to the cart would tell you how much you have in the cart as far as price goes? Maybe they need RFID on all items and a reader in the cart. I just hate getting to the checkout and then finding out how much it all costs, I why should I have to calculate it in my head as I shop..its 2005!
Played it tonight…pretty fun game…kind of easy, but still fun.
Cool little app that sits in the systray, and allows you to set Timezone’s up so you can click and see times anywhere, and allows you to easily switch between timezones on your pc. Since I am in Detroit for the next few days (Eastern Time), I installed it and use it. Pretty cool.

My phone is an Audiovox 6601, which I can get on the internet, Pocket IE to be exact. The one thing I noticed is that I can’t blog from my phone. Why is that you ask? Because Pocket IE sucks at handling javascript, and that is what blogger.com uses when you goto post. I can’t login the normal way and post, and I can’t use the “blog this!” link either, because once I write anything, I can’t publish it. The buttons are there but they don’t do anything because of Pocket IE’s lack of support for javascript.
I wish things were more standardized between Windows OS’s (XP, Server, Mobile). It would make things alot easier.
I am off to Detroit for work on Monday-Wednesday night. Maybe I’ll run into Eminem.

Gotta love Buffalo Wild Wings. We never use to have one here in St. Cloud, so back in the day some buddies and I would drive 40 minutes to Elk River just for 25 cent wings Tuesday’s!!!
Right now I am sitting at BWW in St. Cloud on my aircard just reading some blog feeds, drinking a Coors Light, waiting for some friends.
Now they have raised the price of wings on Tuesday from 25 to 35 cents, but it is still cheap and the wings are great. Hot BBQ and Caribbean Jerk are my favorites. Spicy Garlic is good too.
The triva is fun, and they have Coors Light on tap (my fave!) If they have one near you, check it out, its a very unique resturant.
While back I posted about The Caesars – Jerk It Out….now Apple has it as the background song on the Shuffle commercials….nice
It is an old song! Pretty cool though…as for the Shuffle, cool idea – still not a fan of Apple products!

Today, I decided to listen to my first “podcast”. If you don’t know what podcastting is, here goes:
1) Podcasting is a bad name – really it should be called “Audio” casting, or something like that. I don’t own an ipod and I doubt I ever will.
2) Someone records themselves talking, like a talk radio show, then they upload it to the net in mp3 format. You download to your pc, then to your pocket pc or mp3 player, etc.
3) You can then listen to the casts anywhere (plane, car, bathroom?)
I listened to the latest Engadget podcast, and learned some pretty cool things. The only thing is I wish it wasn’t called podcastting!
Last weekend, up north. Got a flat. Goto walmart. “You are next in line”…..2 Hours Later…Finally car in garage…1.5 hours later..”It can’t be fixed”….”Cant I get a new tire on there then?”…”No – we took off your old tire, inspected it, and put it back on. If you want a new tire, then you need to wait 2 hours”…Called L&M Supply…”Can you fix tire?”…”If you get it here before 5″…Time = 4:45….Got to L&M…15 minutes…10$ later…Tire fixed.
Moral of the story: Don’t goto Walmart to get your vehicle fixed!!
